RYAN BARRY
DIRECTOR OF STRENGTH & CONDITIONING
Coach Ryan Barry brings to Teamworks Sports Performance a long history of developing athletes (from youth to professional) and helping adult clients reach their fitness goals. With his experience as a two sport college athlete, coach and strength coach, he understands what is expected to compete at a high level and knows how to adapt workouts to the individual needs of each client.
Prior to joining TSP, Ryan worked at the Fieldhouse in Sudbury, where he specialized in athletic development of youth, middle school, high school and college athletes. He was also a Personal Trainer at Boston Sports Clubs, where he worked with a wide range of clients, and the Head Strength & Conditioning Coach at Becker College where he helped prepare the football program and conference champion softball team.
Ryan is currently an assistant football coach at Acton-Boxborough Regional High School and has coached collegiate football at Bridgewater State University, North Carolina Wesleyan College, and Becker College. He has a passion for helping athletes reach their goals and athletic potential. Throughout his coaching career he has helped develop several All-Conference players, All-Americans, & professional athletes, while also helping teams achieve their goals. At Becker College, he was part of a coaching staff that led the team to their best record in school history.
Ryan is a graduate of Bridgewater State University where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice and Coaching. He is a Certified Personal Trainer through the American Counsel of Exercise and has Specialty Certifications in Sports Conditioning, as well as Posture, Performance and Mobility. He is also certified in CPR/ AED through the American Heart Association.
